Autorama trade and car show

Events

Autorama 2023 is an automotive trade and car show taking place in Hamilton 10-12 November.

It uniquely brings together auto trade businesses that supply machinery, tools and parts to the automotive sector. A well-equipped workshop enables the build, modification and maintenance of the cars and utes that we love so much.

The team at Autorama recognises that when most people look at cool cars and utes that have had thousands of hours, blood, sweat, and tears poured into them, very few see the businesses that have been the backbone of the build and a part of the journey. Autorama aims to celebrate those people and products that supported the workshops, or the vehicle owners directly.

Those businesses sold the tools that assembled the ute, rebuilt the transmission, sold the specialised machines and workshop equipment, reconditioned, tuned and set up the computer program of the engine. They installed the new suspension and added the new toolboxes or the camping kit on the back.

Whether they are dedicated 4WDers or recreational explorers, many off roaders start off with a blank canvas and are unsure of where to turn when they require specialised skills, parts or accessories for their own projects — Autorama exhibits and promote those businesses to new and existing customers.

Around 12,000 people are expected to attend Autorama 2023 to view the exhibits and make important purchasing decisions that will help shape their build.

Statistically, around 40 per cent of show attendees are looking to buy tools at a show, 30 per cent will buy car/ute care products, and about 30 per cent are thinking about switching up their wheels/ tyres in the next 12 months. A further 20 per cent are looking for performance parts, so the range of opportunity for exhibitors and the purchasing public is huge.
