Hereworth School trek for March

We’ve just received final details for the third 4WD Fundraiser for Hereworth School, based on private Central Hawke’s Bay coastal stations. The final route will be subject to weather

Run in conjunction with Hillseekers 4WD from March 11 – 13, this has in the past proved a very popular event and it’s best to get your entry in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The trek will cover spectacular Central Hawke’s Bay coastal country and we will return to the same
campsite each night so you only need to set up your tent once – or you can bring a caravan.

All levels of 4WD experience and challenge will be provided for, but the trek is designed as a family affair, a chance to make new friends, see a unique part of New Zealand and enjoy wonderful hospitality.

Included are quality breakfasts and dinners which are fully catered and overseen by Sam Orton, a Hereworth Old Boy and well-known local caterer. Lunches will be provided by local schools.

Cash bar facilities will be available at very reasonable prices.

Cost $400 per vehicle (including two people), $180 each extra adult and $80 per child aged 12 and below.

Deposit $170/vehicle by December 15 (non refundable) with the balance of $230/vehicle due  January 31.

The trek will be limited to 100 vehicles (4WD and low range) shod with good condition all terrain or equivalent tyres. Don’t bring dogs, firearms or glass bottles.
