Airplex has introduced a new heavy duty UV resistant vinyl tonneau cover that doesn’t require any drilling to fit to the vehicle.
Traditionally tonneau covers have been installed by drilling many holes around the tray, increasing the possibility of rust in new vehicles. The Airplex soft tonneau requires no drilling in most applications and is fitted using a hidden clamp system.
The Airplex soft tonneau also does away with the traditional method of using bungy cords to attach the cover, which can rub the paintwork. The lack of bungy cords produces a smooth appearance around the top of the tray, as well as allowing for ease of access without having to undo a number of ties along the tailgate.
The Airplex soft tonneau is easy to install, requiring only the included Allen key, and can be fitted in conjunction with a roll bar and a bedliner. Unlike a hard lid or ‘rigid’ folding tonneau, the Airplex tonneau can be rolled up fully giving unrestricted use of the tray.
With a rrp of $499.00 including GST, the Airplex tonneau is a low cost option when compared to other tonneaus and lids.
