Big gains from Narva’s next-gen led driving lights

4WD Accesories

After revolutionising the Australasian LED driving light market four years ago with the Ultima 215, key market player Narva is leading the way again with an updated model that delivers 30 percent more light.

Back in 2017, the Narva Ultima 215 range set the standard with a class-leading hybrid beam pattern that provided outstanding volume and penetration. Since then, the company’s engineering team has worked hard to develop a worthy successor, culminating in the introduction of the Narva Ultima LED MK2.

Now available in New Zealand, the newcomer offers 30 percent additional light over its predecessors, as well as a 20 percent longer beam.

The outstanding lighting performance is complemented by a range of bold new bezel colours to keep up with vehicle trends, along with ‘Black Edition’ kit options that make an even greater visual impact.

The new Ultima LED MK2 range is initially available in the 215 size and more compact 180 variants.

To achieve the extra performance, each light in the range benefits from higher output Osram LEDs and from improved Colour Rendering Index (CRI) performance.

Both lights also include an LED front position pipe for added visibility and safety during daylight hours.

To minimise vibration and provide smoother vision on rough road surfaces, the lights are equipped with a polyurethane mounting and suspension system, while an integrated DT connector ensures uninterrupted power supply. Additionally, the lights offer tool-free vertical adjustment for greater convenience.

These features help provide the new Narva Ultima MK2 range with an impressive IP66 and IP67 rating for water and dust ingress and the ability to operate efficiently within extreme temperature variations of -40°C to 65°C.

The lights are available in Stainless Satin single lamp packs that include a 180 or 215 MK2 light with stainless steel trim and interchangeable slate grey, red and yellow trim options, plus clear lens protector.

Single and twin ‘Black Edition’ kits are also available for both the 180 and 215 MK2 driving lights. Each kit includes a lamp or pair of lamps, with slate grey, hyper green and electric blue trims, a heavy-duty ‘plug and play’ wiring harness, clear and dark tinted ‘Stealth’ lens covers, and everything required for hassle-free installation.

The new Ultima LED MK2 range is backed by a five-year LED warranty and can be purchased from leading automotive outlets nationwide. See www.narva.co.nz for full details.
