The all new Range Rover Evoque, which arrives in New Zealand at the end of the year, will have a comprehensive choice of stylish options, allowing customers to personalise the car. It will come in three design themes: Pure, Prestige and Dynamic and have a number of bespoke accessories, many designed specifically for the Evoque. Range Rover has produced an exceptional range of personalisation options for the new Evoque. Both the 5-Door and coupé can be specified to suit individual tastes and lifestyles through a range of colour and feature combinations. In place of the traditional trim hierarchy are three design themes: Pure (cool and contemporary), Prestige (luxurious) and Dynamic (bold and sporting). Beyond these themes, customers can add their own personal stamp, inside and out. Designer exterior packs provide contrasting colours for the roof and front and rear spoilers, and there are eight alloy wheel designs (from 17 to 20 inches). A panoramic glass roof is available, together with roof rails (in black or chrome finish) and illuminated chrome and aluminium tread plates. Similarly, individual expression is possible in the cabin with a choice of 16 tailored designer interiors, together with a selection of metal finishes, wood veneers and contrasting headlining colours. To heighten the hand-crafted feel, a full soft leather interior can be specified with twin-needle stitching. The new Range Rover Evoque can also be specified with an impressive array of premium on-board entertainment features, including an 825W Meridian surround system, Dual-View touch-screen display, television and rear seat monitor for DVD playback and computer gaming. An advanced park assist system allows for simpler and safer parking manoeuvres and a powered tailgate can help take the strain out of loading. Gerry McGovern, Land Rover design director said: “Customers like to make their own unique statement with a vehicle and we have provided them with plenty of opportunities to personalise their new Range Rover Evoque, whilst maintaining the essence of the design. Many new accessories have been designed for the new Evoque, too, which are both useful and eminently stylish. These include bright-finish tubular side sill bars, sports pedals, a roof-mounted carrier system and full towing kit, plus a dedicated mountain bicycle carrier. The Evoque is the smallest, lightest, most fuel-efficient Range Rover yet produced with class-leading sustainability with sub 130g/km CO2 emissions and outstanding fuel efficiency. Four-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive versions will be available with versatile luggage stowage systems including tow hitch mounted bicycle carriers. |
The Evoque will still have dynamic and agile handling across all terrains, aided by Adaptive Dynamics featuring MagneRide and class-leading all-weather, all-surface capability with legendary Land Rover Terrain Response. Innovative Range Rover technologies, including dual-view display for 8-inch touch-screen and surround camera system will be options. Other features available to Range Rover Evoque customers include: park assist for automated parallel parking, blind spot monitoring system, surround camera system with five digital cameras, including a reversing system. There will be full dual-zone automatic climate control, featuring a park heater timer facility, hard-drive navigation system and DAB/FM/AM/Sirius tuners, with hard-drive virtual 10xCD multiplayer. Digital and satellite TV, and DVD playback and a rear-seat entertainment package, with 8-inch video screens, digital wireless headphones and touch-screen remote control is also an option. New Zealand specifications and pricing will be announced in the middle of the year.
