Save the dates: Manukau will be the place to be for anyone who has a passion for motor sport and things automotive on Labour Weekend, October 22-24.
The Full Throttle Festival is an annual celebration of all things automotive and motor sport and attracts tens of thousands of people over the three days of Labour Weekend. 
Organisers are calling for expressions of interest from clubs and organisations interested in being part of the biggest such event in New Zealand. 
The event is a free family fun weekend based exclusively at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau and features a “4 and Rotary” day, an “enthusiast and clubs” day and a “V8 rod and custom” day. 
There will be motocross, 4WD and tarmac action zones around the centre’s extensive grounds, and on the Sunday of Labour Weekend the interior of the Telstra building becomes a live site for the screening of the rugby final. 
This year off-road racing, remote controlled off-road race cars and quads have been invited to be part of the action zones, and the new KiwiTruck off-road racing youth category will stage.
