It’s an electronic watchdog

If you travel a lot or spend any time in large groups of people there’s always a chance your valuable stuff can go missing.

Enter a new device that’ “talks” to your cell phone if any of your property – or even your kids – moves more than a designated distance. The device can even yell for help with a 100 db alarm.

Designed to provide practical, effective protection for your valuables when you are on the go, BlueWatchDog is the world’s only alarm system that works with your mobile phone’s Bluetooth capabilities so you can react in case of theft.

It is a credit card-sized device with multiple uses. User-adjustable security levels make it possible to programme this innovative product for use as either a silent alert or as a theft deterrent device.

It’s a worldwide first, manufactured in Switzerland and covered by an international patent, and may be configured to provide protection for distances ranging from 1 to 30 metres.

If the protection radius is exceeded, the user receives an alert on the mobile phone and the 100dB alarm on the card is automatically triggered.

The device is provided with a power cable for recharging via USB port on a computer and with a USB travel charger. RRP is $159 inclusive.

A complete list of compatible telephones is currently being compiled and will be regularly updated at www.mi5technologies.com, or you can check whether your phone is compatible by sending an SMS to 0800 111 309.
