New Jeep for NZ

The new Jeep Compass has just been confirmed for arrival in New Zealand later this year, offering premium styling, and value in the compact SUV segment.
“Yes it is definitely our intention to bring the Compass back into NZ,’ says Chrysler-Jeep divisional manager Todd Groves. “The new model is styled and specced off the Jeep Grand Cherokee so it looks and drives fantastically..

“At this point we will look to launch start of 2012.”

Jeep’s smallest vehicle, the Compass features all-new bodywork up front, with a more serious appearance that is expected to broaden the brand’s appeal in the category.
The new Compass boasts a host of interior refinements, with soft touch points and high quality materials along with improved ride and handling characteristics courtesy of upgraded steering and suspension systems.
While detailed specifications are yet to be confirmed for the New Zealand, it is certain to host more than 30 safety and security features, including standard electronic stability control, electronic roll mitigation, Hill-start Assist and side curtain air bags that cover all rows.
