A new look Ford Territory range has been launched in New Zealand featuring exterior design changes, interior updates, a revised model line-up and additional equipment now fitted as standard. The SY Territory Mk II lineup now consists of a TS RWD, TS AWD, Ghia AWD and a Ghia Turbo AWD. All except the TS AWD are available now; the TS AWD will start to arrive in October. Major changes include an all-new bonnet (except the Ghia Turbo) with a new front bumper, upper and lower grilles, new headlamps and a new fog lamp bezel, as well as body coloured door handles, new chrome belt moulding, revised tail lamps, and body coloured mirrors. Ghia and Ghia Turbo models also get a new front mudguard feature, turn indicators integrated into the side mirrors, side steps and privacy glass on rear passenger, rear side and tailgate windows. There are new-design alloy wheels across the range. The interior has also been freshened with new seat materials, colour finishes and trim highlights on all models. Silver steering wheel buttons are another new touch on TS, Ghia and Ghia Turbo models. The Territory TS becomes the entry-level model and gains a reversing camera and a third row seat as standard. Ghia models get a third row seat along with an Alpine rear DVD system, side steps, rear privacy glass and 18 inch alloy wheels, while the Ghia Turbo picks up the same list of additions and a new alloy wheel design (18 inch wheels are already standard fitment on the top-of-the-line Territory model). Prices: Territory TS RWD 4-speed auto $52,990; Territory TS AWD 6-speed auto TBA; Territory Ghia AWD 6-speed auto $61,990; Territory Ghia Turbo AWD 6-speed auto $67,990.
