Tow-Pro Elite

When you’re towing the boat, camper trailer or caravan, you’re going to want to be in complete control and for any trailer above 2.5 tonne it’s required by law to have its own brakes.

Redarc’s Tow-Pro Elite is quickly becoming New Zealand’s favourite electric brake controller. It is the only one to offer two types of braking; Proportional mode (inertia sensing) for the highway and ‘User-Controlled’ mode for off-road conditions and tough terrains. Its minimal footprint and factory finish allow it to feel right at home in your 4WD.

Dual battery chargers

A dead battery in the middle of nowhere is not only inconvenient, but it can also be dangerous. Redarc’s got your back with their BCDC range of DC-DC chargers.

With the company’s DC-DC charging technology these are the most advanced dual battery chargers on the market. Compact in size, easy to install and fully sealed to handle water, dust and vibrations, the BCDC range is suitable for 12 and 24 volt applications, standard and variable/smart alternators plus most battery types including AGM, Gel, Lead Acid, Calcium and LiFePO4.

Featuring a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator and Green Power Priority, they’re also ready for your solar set-up.

AC battery chargers

In between adventures it’s important to keep your vehicle’s batteries healthy, charged and ready.

That’s where Redarc’s SmartCharge AC battery chargers come in. They’re simple to use, just connect the charging clips to the battery, connect to an AC power supply and push the ON button. They’re rated to IP65 – so these SmartChargers can be used both outdoors and in damp environments.

Once a battery is fully charged the charger wakes up every seven days to check the battery status and resume charging if required. Alternatively, if the battery drops below 12.6 volts it will also resume charging.

Battery management systems

To get the absolute most out of any dual battery setup, a battery management system (BMS) is required. Redarc’s Manager30, for example, is six solutions in one and offers a variety of features unlike anything else in the market. It features a DC-DC charger, 240V charger, battery isolator, load disconnect controller, MPPT solar regulator plus a remote monitor.

For total control at your fingertips, pair the Manager30 with a RedVision. With a distribution box that can accommodate Redarc’s battery systems, RedVision is perfect for monitoring and controlling your battery’s state of charge in real-time (and more).

Solar power

Cross boundaries you never thought possible by harnessing the energy of the sun with Redarc’s 4WD solar panels. Easy to use, these solar panels are designed to complement your vehicle’s current battery charging system.

Redarc’s solar solutions include high-quality monocrystalline fixed solar panels designed to attach to the top of your 4WD or camper trailer. For something more flexible, check out their folding portable solar panels or ultra-convenient and lightweight solar blankets. These blankets feature solar cells attached to a flexible cloth backing and can be easily folded up and packed away.
