After two seasons in the hot seat Phil Collins has passed the role of NCO (National Competition Officer) on to Neville Dunton.

Competition licence holders also voted in a lot of new faces onto the committee including: Louise Piper (secretary), Julian Rivers (treasurer), Lyn White (national scorer), Norman Hudson (northern zone steward), Shanan Wellman (northern zone scrutineer), Wayne Osman (central zone steward), Mat Jordan (southern zone scrutineer).

The only one to retain his position was central zone scrutineer, Phil Conwell.

The first order of business for the competition committee was setting and confirming the dates with NZFWDA clubs for the upcoming season.

There will be six rounds spread over the summer months with the various 4WD clubs  hosting the events from the Bay of Islands down to Wellington.

On-site Sound Promotions has confirmed it will be at four of the rounds with an arrangement of music, public announcements and on-site updates. Until then teams will be involved in either interclub and club events or readying their vehicles for the 2010/2011 National Trial Series.
