Turning up the heat

Events

The third round if this season’s 4x4 Trials championships were held in sizzling temperatures at Kutarere in the Bay of Plenty on Sunday January 24.

Spectators enjoyed the day as they could view heaps of obstacles from one place and action was happening everywhere.

As always the mission for the 62 entries was to get the lowest points while at the same time surviving to drive their vehicles onto the trailer at the end of the day – but this time the ground took its toll on many as they were carried back to the pits by a Merlo lift.
