X-Bar is now even better

4WD Accesories

The new X-Bar ute body range from tow bar specialist Hayman Reese has been designed specifically to fit with each vehicle’s original rear step bumper and maintain the key X-Bar advantages of recovery rating, engineered strength and superior style.

Recovery-rated

With three dedicated recovery points built-in and rated up to 8000kg, the X-Bar provides a purpose-designed and rated rear recovery system which can get a vehicle out of trouble in a snatch.

Engineered for strength

The forged ball mount, increased side plate thickness and forged rated recovery points ensure the heavy-duty X-Bar is ready to handle towing and recovery needs.

The tried and true X-Bar design offers the only 8,000kg rated recovery towbar on the market.

Superior style

The sleek design of the X-Bar shapes to complement the vehicle look and feel. The strong lines and red recovery points are a standout for serious 4WD enthusiasts.

The X-Bar ute incorporates a quick-release cover plate which has been specifically designed to lift and lock open when towing. This new feature provides easy access to hitch pin, shackles and trailer plugs and pulls down for a clean look when not towing.

X-Bar Ute body explained

1. The centre recovery point is easily accessed when the trailer ball mount has been removed and is perfect for rear recovery. It is suitable for single recovery straps and rated to 8000 kg.

2. The two other (one on each side) forged recovery points, meanwhile, are rated to 4000 kg each and ideal for quick attachment in any light recovery situation.

3. The quick release cover plate hides the hitch pin, shackle and plug points when not towing, with the integrated plug mounting points equipped to handle multiple plug configurations.

4. The formed cross tube follows the vehicle’s lines, fitting with the body of the car. Thicker steel is equipped to handle the strength required for towing and recovery,  while a forged ball mount maintains the maximum rating.

5. The ball mount position also allows for most GVM upgrade kits.

6. The X-Bar’s heavy-duty side plates are made to suit the vehicle and engineered for the demands of both towing and recovery.

Encompassing quality synonymous with Hayman Reese, the X-Bar comes standard with MetalShield™, two-stage paint protection, SmartClick™ vehicle specific wiring solutions and all fasteners.

The X-Bar provides the ultimate solution for 4WDers.  No longer is there a need to be worried about safe recovery and strength, X-Bar is the answer.
