The much anticipated all-new Nissan Navara NP300 comes with new levels of comfort, convenience and advanced technologies and is due for release here in 2015. The design team focused on delivering a sportier and more emotional expression on the Navara, while maintaining Nissan’s distinctive design DNA.
The vehicle has been designed and developed to easily and confidently handle heavy loads, while allowing ease of loading and unloading. Underneath, the Navara’s high-strength chassis and suspension have been engineered to take the punishment of intense daily use, reflecting the expectations of ute customers around the world. Among other improvements to the Navara’s characteristics is a reduced turning circle.
Four-wheel drive can be engaged while the vehicle is in motion. The vehicle dynamic control system (VDC) helps improve off-road driving performance and safety, along with ABLS (active brake limited slip), HSA (hill start assist) and HDC (hill descent control).
Nissan is confident the new Navara will go straight to the top of ute buyers’ shopping lists in all markets. Its combination of “striking looks, efficient performance, robustness and durability will allow owners to work and play harder – enriching their daily lives”.
“The NP300 Navara continues the legacy of Nissan’s long ute history and will deliver excitement through innovation,” said Andy Palmer, Nissan’s chief planning officer.
Note: Australia/NZ specification, including engines, transmissions and grades, will be confirmed at a later date.
