Raw 4X4 steering and suspension

4WD Accesories

The Raw 4x4 Big Bore Steering Damper puts control back in the hands of the driver.

It is designed for off-road hard driving tasks. Where steering becomes difficult through mud bogs, chug holes, rocks and ruts that can grab a road wheel and tear the steering wheel out of the driver’s grip. cause wheels and thus the steering wheel to turn one way or the other. Undamped steering can cause driver fatigue by forcing a constant battle with the steering.

The RAW 4x4 Big Bore has been designed to reduce the effects of bump steer and uncontrolled movement self-steering. It has:
• A large 35mm bore size.
• A bulged body design for increased oil capacity.
• Nitrogen gas cell to centralise oil.
• Reinforced end mounts for secure fitment to vehicle.
• Steel dust shroud to protect chrome rod from stone damage.

When it comes to suspension, Raw 4x4 has shock absorbers and strut assemblies to keep the ride comfortable on and off road.  Shock absorbers help to hold the vehicle’s wheels against the driving surface for increased traction and control. This reduces vibration, improving vehicle safety.

The Raw 4x4 range offers variety for every make of 4WD to suit the roads being driven on. Components are tested and retested by the company’s commercial engineering team in Australia – the same team that works on seven tonne trucks.

Raw Nitro is a heavy-duty gas shock absorber that manages body roll and increases vehicle stability. It’s well suited to the recreational 4WDer who is looking to lift their vehicle.

Nitro Max is the heavy weight contender recommended for long distance touring, mining and heavy-duty applications.

Predator is a series designed for the 4WD owner who is looking for that sometimes elusive combination of comfort and control. A fast-acting monotube design brings comfort running day to day and then off-road at the weekend.

RAW 4x4 products are available at Autolign and BNT Automotive. Visit www.raw4x4.com.au to use the Raw 4x4 Online Kit Builder Calculator.
