KIA Tasman on its way

New and tested 4WDs

A ute like no other: Kia New Zealand has confirmed the model range for its first-ever ute, the Tasman. 

Tasman kicks off with TX 4WD at $52,690, arriving in Kia dealerships in the second half of the year. It will be available in five trim levels, with the TX followed by the TXR 4WD at $58,690 and the ​TXS 4WD at $62,690 then the ​X-Line 4WD at ​$69,690, and the range-topping ​X-Pro 4WD at ​$79,690​ 

The Tasman steps straight into the hottest ute segment in the country, with the double cab wellside variant powered by a 154kW/440Nm 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

All Tasman variant’s have an 800mm wading depth and a locking rear differential. The top-of-the-line X-Pro model has ground clearance of up to 252mm.

The Tasman has also undergone extensive durability testing, both from a performance and longevity perspective, and has been subject to tens of thousands of kilometres across a variety of terrain and environments.
