Land Rover has revealed a new special edition of its all-conquering Defender that recognises the brand's long history in offroad and no-road exploration adventure events.
Meet the 110 Trophy Edition, a new version at home in supermarket queues, on potholed motorways and in the great outdoors.
Over a period of 18 years, Land Rovers, Freelanders and Range Rovers took on the toughest terrain in Camel Trophy exploration events. Now, the brand has unveiled a special-edition Defender that celebrates the brand's long history of exploration events.
Based on the mid-sized Defender 110, the Defender Trophy harks back to its classic Camel Trophy 'no-road' drive events,
The Trophy version gains off-road accessories, 20in alloy wheels, and retro paint colours: a choice of Deep Sandglow Yellow or Keswick Green paint – contrasted against a black bonnet, wheel arches and roof – and a black leather interior. The dashboard panel is also painted to match the car’s exterior colour.
The optional Trophy Edition accessory pack adds a roof rack, exterior panniers, an air-intake snorkel, a roof ladder and mud flaps.
Matt-finish paint protection film can also be had as an optional extra.
