Ram is bringing its off-road focused 2025 1500 Rebel to New Zealand as the brand prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

As is the case with all other variants in the MY25 Ram 1500 line-up, Ram Trucks NZ has opted to equip the Rebel with a long list of features that are optional extras in the US.

The Rebel is powered by the new-generation twin-turbo in-line 3.0-litre six-cylinder ‘Hurricane’ engine which produces more power and torque than the outgoing V8 engine. With outputs of 313kW and 635Nm, the Standard Output ‘Hurricane’ engine has 7.6 per cent more power and 14.2 per cent more torque than the previous 5.7-litre Hemi V8 (291kW and 556Nm).

With the Hurricane engine, Ram 1500 accelerates from 0 to 100kmh in 6 seconds or less – faster than V8s in the category, including the previous Hemi.
