Manukau Winch Challenge
The day before the annual Manukau Winch Challenge the sun shone in an azure sky and there was hardly a breath of wind. The day after….let’s just say that the heavy showers that swept the Onewhero area added to the ‘atmosphere’ of the event.
 
Superwinch Mainland Winch Challenge
This year’s Superwinch Mainland Challenge ended on a high at an all-action final round at Makikihi south of Timaru. Vicky Newport wrote the story and shared photo duties with Monique Thornton, Lex Bloomfield and Callum Craik.
 
ORANZ series final
This year’s ORANZ final at Matata in the Bay of Plenty in early October had it all, from a welcome comeback win for series’ legend Tony McCall to a the barrel roll by Neil Hook which became a YouTube sensation.
