General Motors Australia & New Zealand has introduced the GMC Yukon Denali Signature Black, a locally-specified special edition of the GMC Yukon Denali full-size SUV.
The Signature Black specification is finished in Onyx Black exterior paint, and adds Black Vader Chrome exterior detailing, black exterior badging and 24-inch Black accessory wheels, with the Australian specification also including an illuminated GMC emblem. The second-row Captain’s Chairs bring first-class comfort and a more spacious and premium experience.
The Yukon Denali Signature Black is powered by GM’s 6.2-litre EcoTec3 V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management, producing 313kW of power and 624Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and Active Response 4WD system, while Air Ride Adaptive four-corner suspension and Magnetic Ride Control support ride comfort and control across a range of road surfaces.
A distinctive Denali presence
The Signature Black specification gives the Yukon Denali a more individual character, pairing its commanding full-size SUV proportions with Onyx Black exterior paint and Black Vader Chrome detailing. The exterior specification includes a Black Vader Chrome grille with illuminated GMC emblem (illumination in Australia only), Black Vader Chrome grille surround, front fascia accent trim, side mouldings and lower rear fascia accent trim. Black exterior badging, gloss black hood moulding, gloss black roof luggage rails and 24-inch Black accessory wheels complete the Signature Black treatment.

Inside, the Yukon Denali Signature Black features a seven-seat configuration with second-row Captain’s Chairs, Jet Black perforated leather-appointed seating, heated front and rear seats, ventilated front seats and tri-zone automatic climate control. A new power sliding centre console adds further comfort and flexibility to the front cabin.
A 16.8-inch diagonal GMC Premium Infotainment System touchscreen takes centre stage in the cabin, supported by wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and a Bose® 14-speaker surround sound system with CenterPoint®. A 15-inch multicolour Head-Up Display helps place key driving information in the driver’s line of sight, while rear passengers can access dual 12.6-inch colour-touch LCD screens with two GMC-branded wireless headphones.

The Yukon Denali Signature Black retains the Yukon’s Professional Grade capability, including a two-speed transfer case, electronic limited-slip differential, Trailer Sway Control and an integrated trailer brake controller. With a maximum braked towing capacity of 3,628kg when equipped with the appropriate weight-distribution hitch, the Yukon Denali Signature Black is engineered to tow with confidence while maintaining the comfort and refinement expected of a premium SUV.
A 360-degree HD camera system with up to 11 camera views, including Hitch Guidance with Hitch View, supports improved visibility when manoeuvring and towing.
