Ineos special edition inspired by the elements

News and General

The IneosGrenadier SUV and Quartermaster models line-up for the 2027 model year will feature a special edition known as Helmsman, which charts the course for a new line of special editions inspired by the elements the vehicles were was designed to tackle.

Available on both Station Wagon and ute versions, the Helmsman reflects a nautical lifestyle and builds on the appeal of the standard Grenadier. It carries over popular design features from previous special editions and offers a striking deep blue paint colour, originally developed by Arcane Works.

Helmsman is distinguishable by exclusive badging and a ‘Dark Exterior’ pack comprising a black grille, dark skidplates and all-new matt black roof rails. It rides on distinctive 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and adds privacy glass, heated leather seats, carpet floor mats over heavy-duty wash-down rubber flooring, locking wheel nuts, and the rear access ladder or load bay tub (model dependant). Smooth Pack features are also added, including ambient lighting, front parking sensors and auxiliary electrical points.

A ‘Whiteout Blue’ metallic exterior paint option, previously exclusive to Arcane Works models, is a signature colour for Helmsman. Eldoret Blue and Scottish White are offered as standard, with customers able to opt for a contrast roof in either Inky Black or Scottish White. Inside, Helmsman debuts standout oyster-coloured inserts in the black leather seats.

“Built to work hard and play even harder, the Grenadier is in its element when recovering a boat or transporting kayaks to the coast. With this in mind, we have combined popular design features from previous limited editions with new oceanic hues to deliver the ideal 4X4 for watersports enthusiasts and seafarers. After three quarters of double digit growth, it’s clear that our model line-up evolution is focused on bringing new customers to the brand who share our spirit of adventure,” said Sagree Sardien, Global Sales Director at INEOS Automotive.

Prices for the Helmsman start from $119,995 with order books now open. It will have a limited production window ahead of the next elements-inspired special edition.
