Bushtech: lighter, stronger, better

Products

Priced below $6,000 including GST, Bushtech aluminium canopies can be $3,000-$4,000 cheaper than rival brands.

They offer genuine quality of a standard suitable for installation on new utes at dealerships across New Zealand.

Proven internationally, built with 25 years automotive engineering experience and now over two years in New Zealand, Bushtech canopies are backed by a manufacturer’s 10-year frame guarantee.

1.    Unbeatable value for money
Unbeatable value in aluminium canopies offering full genuine quality with a 50 percent higher dynamic (in-motion) load rating of 300kg. Wellside canopies are the company’s main product but the all new Bushtech X-Series tray and canopy displays capability in aluminium engineering few can match.

2.    Superior build and finish
Cheaper canopies that appear similar are not engineered like a Bushtech. Canopies with rivets outwardly visible near the top of the doors typically use a cheaper construction method and lack the internally braced door frames every Bushtech canopy features as standard.

On a Bushtech canopy, struts and locks mount to Bushtech’s unique internal door frames, not the door skin. This offers a more rigid closure and enhanced security, and it’s also how Bushtech canopies stay more dust-proof when driving corrugated gravel roads or heading off-road. On cheaper brands gas struts are crudely riveted to a thin door skin, leaving the rivets visible outwardly.

Every Bushtech canopy is hand finished to perfection. Unsightly tig weld scars that cheaper brands powder coat straight over are gone on a Bushtech, giving a seamless, premium appearance. Bushtech only uses super premium powder coat finishes.

3.    Huge side access
Bushtech’s 2.5 tonne load tested frame isn’t only about carrying loads others can’t. The superior strength permits much bigger gullwing side doors than found on any plastic/fibreglass canopies or bolt-together metal canopies.

Metal canopies requiring assembly typically offer load ratings and side door size similar to some plastic/fibreglass canopies. Upgrading to a metal canopy? Make it a Bushtech and gain the maximum advantage.

4.    Security
One of big drivers behind the rapid growth of Bushtech canopies in NZ is security. Sadly, it’s increasingly common for tradies to find their ute has been cleaned out, tools stolen.

No Bushtech canopy has yet been successfully broken into in NZ.

The company offers canopies in a choice of all solid aluminium, or with glass front and rear. An optional security mesh insert is available for canopies with glass.

Need to carry a dog? Sliding dog windows and/or secure pop vents can be installed on request.

5.    No waiting
Most models are in NZ stock and able to be dispatched NZ wide within 24 hours.
