Ironman 4x4 lights and battery accessories

Products

Ironman 4x4 has a range of lighting and electrical equipment suitable that offer a little bit of luxury, refinement, and solid practicality when going off the grid. Products are tried and tested in harsh Australian conditions with quality performance and reliability in mind.

LED Driving lights
Ironman 4x4 lights are designed and engineered to meet the demanding conditions of off-road and on-road travel. Using the latest technology, featuring Osram LED’s these lights are brighter and more efficient than ever before, increasing visibility and reaction time.

Manufactured from diecast alloy housing built to withstand hours of corrugations and extreme conditions, featuring shockproof polycarbonate lenses, high-quality reflectors, and stainless-steel mounting bracket for ultimate performance. They are rated to IP67 – water and dust ingress protection. They operate on 10-30V DC.

LED Lightbars
Ironman 4x4’s LED Light Bars allow you to see further and draw less power. Using state of the art, high intensity CREE LEDs for maximum possible light spread.

They are available in straight and curved formats, with the curved bars allowing maximum spread.

New Bright Sabre LED lightbars
The Bright Sabre family of lights feature hooded reflectors for the LEDs.

Why is this important? Compared to traditional lights, hooded reflectors provide a more horizontal beam with mid-field focus. This makes them ideal for driving applications, putting more light where it’s needed.

Key features
Single and dual row options to suit any front bar or roof rack application, OSRAM LED chip for reliability and performance, flat UV-stable polycarbonate lens with a bezel-free design protects against rain, snow and ice build-up.

The hooded reflector reduces glare and improves the light beam pattern. The temperature self-protection system automatically adjusts the current if the operating temperature exceeds safe limits. The Bright Sabre light bars are supplied with side and rear mount brackets providing multiple mounting options. They have 12-24 Volt operating range, IP67 rating, and are RoHS Compliant.

Dual battery kits from Ironman 4x4
Don’t run the risk of getting a flat battery in the winter months or while away from civilization in your four-wheel drive. Ironman 4x4 has dual battery kits that allow two batteries to be charged at the same time. These sense the voltage in both batteries. Once the engine is running and charging reaches a certain voltage, it will allow both batteries to charge.

At the other extreme, when the voltage drops below a certain point the module disengages to isolate each of the batteries.

The 140 Amp Dual battery manager module engages when the main battery reaches 13.4 volts and allows both batteries to be charged simultaneously. When the voltage drops below 12.8 volts (for example when power is used with the engine off) the Ironman module disengages, isolating the batteries to avoid embarrassing ‘powerless campsite’ issues.

The dual battery monitor displays the voltage levels of both batteries and eliminates the possibility of draining the starting battery as long as accessories are connected to the auxiliary battery.

The 275 Amp dual battery kit performs an automated parallel function which allows two separate batteries to be charged as one. When the main battery reaches 13.7 volts the Ironman 275Amp Dual Battery kit engages, allowing charging of both batteries. When the voltage drops below 12.2 volts the kit disengages, protecting the starting battery which does not have the accessories connected to it.  The kit has an emergency parallel function (a manual override system) if you need both batteries linked.

The 275 Amp dual battery kit is designed for high current draw, with motorised sliding plate contacts. There’s an in-cab battery voltage display with ignition protection.

Ironman 4x4’s DC to DC Dual Battery
Charger is designed to ensure the auxiliary battery is charged at all times. Using both the alternator and solar panels, the 12v DC to DC charger uses smart technology to automatically switch between the two power sources depending on the running state of the vehicle.

Once the vehicle has started, the DC-to-DC charger draws power from the alternator. When the vehicle is parked and off, the DC-to-DC Dual Battery Charger switches to drawing power from the solar panels. The inbuilt regulator controls the charge from 50w to 400w solar panels, ensuring the correct wattage for the battery.

Necessary for a full power set-up, the dual battery charger has a waterproof fully polymer encapsulation, protecting the unit from water and dust. The DC to DC Dual Battery Charger is pre-wired and ready to install.
